Schedule of Events Specific to Current BLES 5th Grade Students

April 23, 2025 at 5:30 PM: Interest Meeting at Duluth Middle School for Cheerleading for DMS Basketball

April 25 and May 2: Tryouts for Rising 6th - 8th Grade girls interested in softball. 

Tryouts will take place at Shortly Howell Park, Field #2. Rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls who will be attending Coleman or Duluth Middle School next year are eligible to tryout. The program is supported by Duluth High School, where many of the games take place, and a lot of our players go on to play for DHS.

May 16, 2025: Promotion Ceremonies at BLES
  • 8:45-9:45 AM Promotion Ceremony (Sportel and Summers)

May 19, 2025: Senior Walk at BLES
  • 5th Grade Senior Walk with drum line

May 21, 2025: Last Day of School at BLES
  • Last day of school and 5th Grade Fun Day

July 22, 2025: "Cat Camp" at DMS
  • Rising 6th graders join us for a day of activities and a 6th grade schedule on July 22! Meet your teachers and get exclusive access to DMS before anyone else! Please sign up on mypaymentsplus! Students signed up will get lunch and a t-shirt included

 

Donate to our 5th Grade Fun Day:

Help the PTO throw an amazing 5th Grade Fun Day for our 5th graders on the last day of school! The day will kick off with a silent disco, followed by games, outdoor fun, and snow cones to cool off. Each student will also receive a graduation gift and special hat/shirt. The suggested donation is $15-$30. Your support helps the PTO make this celebration unforgettable.
